All our Tana Lawn and Poplin pieces are 100% cotton garments. These are mono-fibres, meaning it is ONLY made with cotton, a naturally occurring material, so it is breathable and does not always need to be washed after every wear.
We recommend airing out between wears, keeping the piece fresh whilst also reducing the number of times it needs washing - helping to reduce your carbon footprint too!
When washing, we recommend washing all our cotton goods at 30C and simply hang dry.
Our needlecord pieces are all made from 100% cotton, so it is breathable and does not need to be washed after every wear.
We recommend airing out between wears, keeping the piece fresh whilst also reducing the number of times it needs washing - helping to reduce your carbon footprint too!

All our dresses that we choose to make from silk are in a Crepe De Chine. This is a mono-fibre silk, meaning it is 100% Pure Silk (DELICIOUS).
With these silks, we advise that they are Dry Clean Only. However, we recommend airing your silk dresses out in between wears to minimise the amount of dry cleaning needed.
When looking to Dry Clean, we really emphasise the use of a 'Green Dry Cleaners' like our neighbours Dhobees.
With our knitwear we really recommend airing your pieces before deciding to wash them.
When washing ALWAYS hand-wash. Please do not use 'hand-wash' cycle on the machine as we have had a few disasters with this.
We recommend cold handwashing and drying laying flat (do not hang as the knits will stretch!).
Our pieces are made from natural fibres, which means over-time they will bobble, we recommend using a de-bobbler should this happen!
Our Frida Trousers and Janine Playsuit are made from a Liberty Print Cotton Drill. This means they are 95% Cotton and 5% Elastane, giving the items a good comfy stretch.
As always, we recommend airing your garments out to reduce the amount of washing you do in order to promote living in an environmentally conscious way.
When washing any of our goods made from cotton drill, do so at 30C and hang dry.
